STHREE

A thematic presentation portraying the many facets of women seen in Indian mythology. Stories about the strong and powerful women Draupadi, Devaki and Gandhari were enacted culminating with Saraswathi, Lakshmi and Parvathi the celestial supreme Goddesses.


Part of the proceeds from this event was donated to a non-profit community-based organization committed to helping women from domestic violence and other human rights violations.

TRIYEE

In 2008, a two-year mammoth project was undertaken with the help of a Grant received fromthe Long Island Arts Council of Freeport, Long Island.

 

Lyrics written by the legendry Dr. Pappu Venugopala Rao in Sanskrit and music recorded by topartists in Chennai, India, Satya presented the story of Lord Dattatreya with 30 of her students to critical acclaim.

VISHWA KSHEMAM

The thematic presentation dealing with the universal value of peace, respect for one another, love and well-being was performed on Earth Day.

This thematic dance ballet deals with the myriad garland of emotions: Sringara (Love), Roudram(Anger), Hasyam(Laughter), Bheebhatsam(Disgust), Adhbhutam(Surprise, Praise), Veeram(Valor), Bhayanakam(Fear), Karunyam(Compassion) and Shantam(Peace)
